As a benefit for members, SDS hosts three e-mail discussion lists (also known as LISTSERV) for its members at http://www.lists.disstudies.org. These lists allow members to disseminate news and engage in dialogue regarding disability studies. They further enable members to take advantage of electronic communications to discuss topics of immediate interest.

SDS-discuss

The SDS-discuss list is the main member-only discussion avenue for all of SDS's members. It is a moderated list that attracts national and international members. Members often have the opportunity to submit relevant items of interest such as new position announcements, call for papers, and conference announcements.

grad-discuss

The grad-discuss list is intended for graduate students, student artists, performers, activists, and other students who have a particular interest in disability studies. This list enables students to discuss items of specific interest relevant to students such as various academic disciplines, teaching, graduate degrees, upcoming job positions, research interests, and much more. This list is not restricted to SDS members. Visit the graduate discussion page to learn about subscribing to this list.

SDS-int

SDS-int is a recently formed discussion list intended for international members of SDS. This discussion list allows international members to discuss specific and relevant issues that are unique in international research related to disability studies. The list also allows members to participate in dialogues that spread a further understanding of the peculiarities of working in the field of disability studies in countries other than the United States.
